Team building

The natural environment provides an ideal medium for exploring interpersonal issues that inevitably arise during team working. Team members can see each other in a fresh light and reveal transferable skills.

Stress busting - exorcising stress*

How do we manage that with young children, partners to consider and a million and one things getting in the way like debt, feeling tired, worn out and fed up?

Stress affects us all in different ways at different times in our lives. We each need to find out how to manage stress in a positive way. Talking about it is a start, but it is not enough to talk! Research clearly shows that exercise is a great way to keep stress levels under control.

Stress busting sessions don't just talk about stress. They also explore low-cost practical ways to deal with stress ways and experience the benefits of being outdoors. Leave with your own plan for action.

Courses have been run for Homestart clients, disabled women, Workers Educational Association.

Confidence building - inside out*

Short courses can be arranged that use a variety of mediums such as the outdoors, arts, drama and music. It all depends on the needs of your group.

These aim to encourage women to value themselves, their communities and the wider environment so that they:

  • feel more confident about influencing their lives and the lives of those they care for

  • believe in themselves and their ability to make a difference

  • can play a part in bringing about social and environmental justice
